Porsche Taycan Turbo S 2020 (EV) - FIRST in-depth look in 4K | Interior - Exterior

Porsche Taycan Turbo S 2020 (EV) first exclusive look of Porsche's full-electric sedan has shaken even Tesla's market that Elon Musk all the sudden started caring about Nurburgring time.

Porsche Taycan comes in two variants; Taycan Turbo and Taycan Turbo S, which is funny as it is just an inherited name. As you all know electric motors don't need or don't have turbo.

The difference is Taycan Turbo has a more long-distance battery range, while Taycan Turbo S has a more, minimum distance battery range, and is faster if you do launch control 0 - 100 km/h (62 mph). That's two seconds slower than the Performance version of Tesla Model S, P100D. Top speed is limited to 260 km/h (161 mph), one kilometer slower than mentioned Tesla.

Unlike Tesla, Taycan has a dual motor with two speed instead of a one-speed gearbox. One for more power save, and one for more pulling power. Taycan also has less battery range than Tesla.


Taycan Turbo
Power: 500 kWh - 680 HP - 3.2 sec
Battery range: 381 - 450 km (WLTP)

Taycan Turbo S
Power: 560 kWh - 761 HP - 2.8 sec
Battery range: 388 - 412 km (WLTP)

Taycan body is very aerodynamic as seen on video. You can chose 10 colors. Two colors you can see in video I am sure of are special red: "Crimson", and blue: "Enzian Blue metallic". There are two white color options; "Carrera white metallic" (more likely presented on IAA) and solid "White". Alloy wheels come in 20 and 21-inch size for Turbo S.

Regarding exterior, you can choose many options like front "Sport Design" which has wider front side intakes. Plenty of customizable options, you can check-in online configurators that are already live.

Interior is also customizable, with standard; 16.8-inch curved display, 10.9-inch central display (and optional second one for co-driver) and 8.4-inch console virtual keypad.

Inside there is plenty of space for 4 adults as Taycan is 4 seater. Frunk space offers 81 liters, and rear trunk 366 l, combined, that is not too big; 447 l.
