So Porsche unveiled the 2020 Taycan EV interior a month ahead of its September Frankfurt auto Show debut. When you look at the interior of this electric car and want to compare it to Tesla you will see that Porsche is sending a clear and loud message that everything the 2020 Taycan stands for, a Tesla is not.

Tesla Model S and Model 3 or other Teslas are known for their simplistic and minimalistic interior. Look at the 2020 Porsche Taycan EV’s interior. There is nothing simplistic or minimalistic. Like Tesla, Porsche also professes to build electric cars, but as you can see Porsche is taking a slightly different approach. As you can see from these screens Porsche is staying faithful to its historical legacy.

Tesla cars, like the Model S, are poised toward autonomous driving with Tesla’s Autopilot. In contrast, Porsche Taycan’s interior shows that it will be one of the last car companies that will still put a steering wheel and pedals into their cars to make them driving cars as they should be, not autonomous.
