Bass Player John Montagna, whose long career has included 7 years with the Alan Parsons Project, working as part of the house band for the Happy Together tours, as well as for the tours for A Walk Down Abbey Road. He has held bass clinics at The Fest For Beatles Fans, talking about Paul McCartney’s bass playing on Beatles records, and playing his actual bass lines (including for most of the Abbey Road album!) And John has appeared on Ken’s syndicated Beatles radio show “Every Little Thing,” and Beatles podcast show “Things We Said Today” (see links below.) Here John talks with Ken about Paul’s contributions and innovations as a bass player on his solo and Beatles records. John also discusses his involvement playing bass for the Ram tribute album, “Ram On” (due out May 14, 2021.)
