Brian Ray has been a member of Paul McCartney’s band since 2002, performing on several of his studio albums (“Chaos And Creation In The Backyard,” “Memory Almost Full,” “New,” Egypt Station,”) and performing on tour with him nearly every year since joining the group. Along with Rusty Anderson, Abe Laboriel Jr., and Paul “Wix” Wickens, this group has stayed together more than the Beatles or Wings! Together this group has toured the world, and have played many historic concerts with one of the greatest music legends.

Here Brian talks about his brand new single “On My Way To You,” much of his solo-work, and the early beginnings of his career, working with Etta James, and even co-writing a hit for Smokey Robinson! It’s been an extraordinary life that Brian has lived, and I’m so grateful he is here to share it all, and to discuss what it’s like to tour with Paul McCartney!
