????With 1985 hitting, we've got a little bit of a shake-up in this week's Billboard Top 10 Chart! Chaka Khan and Sir Paul McCartney drop off after failing to hit the top spot, and are replaced by Bryan Adams and Chicago. Interestingly enough, Julian Lennon holds strong at Number 10 for the third week in a row. And, no surprise by Duran Duran and Madonna hold the top spots for another week! 1984 was good for the Material Girl and 1985 looks to be much the same.

Now, a couple of things: this is from the Billboard Hot 100 Chart - which is the main source of what the top songs are, based on sales and radio airplay in the US. Second, I didn't make the list, so asking "what about" is moronic. If they aren't on the list, they weren't a significant hit THIS WEEK 40 years ago.
