Sir Paul McCartney has warned of the harm artificial intelligence could have on the music industry.

The UK government is looking at changing a copyright law which would allow AI developers to use artists' content in projects, unless they opt-out.

The Beatles star told the BBC if their work isn't properly protected, then people will simply lose interest in making new music.
