Sir Paul McCartney shares rare photo of wife Nancy for very special celebration

in honor of the couple's 12-year wedding anniversary, Sir Paul McCartney posted a rather uncommon photo of his wife Nancy Shevell.

In honor of the milestone, Sir Paul shared a selfie on his Instagram account that showed the infatuated couple relaxing while on vacation and grinning ear to ear.

Nancy, 63, was gorgeous in the candid photo wearing a blush pink pastel slip dress with a red flower pattern and a black lace border. She styled her brunette hair loosely in the middle and added a layer of bronze makeup to complete her look. Perfection!

Paul, on the other hand, looked really handsome with a dark shirt that was left undone at the top.

Happy anniversary to my gorgeous wife, Nancy, I love you," Paul wrote as a loving homage to his loved one. Paul, let's have a great one, then a pink love heart.

Fans and friends of the actress went to the comments section to show their support for the infatuated couple, writing things like, "You guys genuinely look so cute," and "Happy anniversary to a beautiful couple!"

Another was written: "Paul & Nancy, may you have many more wonderful years together!" a fourth person chimed in, "Congratulations to the lovely couple still in love!"

The Beatles musician, who in 2022 gave his own headlining set at Glastonbury, wed Nancy, his third wife, back in 2011. In an article on his website earlier this year, he described how he maintains the romance with the professional.

Sir Paul opened up about trying to be a "considerate and romantic" husband and how he enjoys going all out, especially for big events like Christmas and Valentine's Day.

Paul and Nancy started dating in 2007 after the singer's divorce from Heather Mills, his second wife. In a secret ceremony in London in 2011, they exchanged vows, and ever since, their relationship has only been better.

The singer was previously wed to Heather from 2002 to 2008 and to Linda McCartney from 1969 until 1998. In the divorce settlement, his second wife asked for £125 million, but he only gave her £15.8 million. Ultimately, a judge decided that the former model should receive £24.3 million, or roughly $48 million.

Paul relishes spending time with his five children when they are not in the spotlight. He has 19-year-old daughter Beatrice with his ex-wife Heather Mills and Mary, Stella, James, and Heather, an adopted daughter, with his late wife Linda McCartney.
