The first thing that I'd like to say is Thank You to all of you who have supported my channel throughout the year. You have all been very kind and generous in your comments about my performances. I'm also very sorry that I won't be able to reply to your comments on this since I'll will away for at least another week, but I will catch up with all of you then. Wishing all of you, much joy and happiness heading into the new year.
Although I had Hey Jude scheduled for this slot, I felt that this song about peace by Paul McCartney was actually far more appropriate was this time of year. I feel Sir Paul writes songs just as beautiful about peace as dear John Lennon. This will be the first time that I've actually sung this song, so I hope that you enjoy it. I won't be here at the premiere or to answer comments until after the first week of next year, so sorry about that.
This time of year, more than any other, people's thoughts and those of the nations, turn toward peace and an end to war. Yet sadly, these feelings generally only last as long as the holidays and then it's back to business as usually.
I truly believe that the average person hates bloody warfare and killing and just wants to live in peace. Jesus Christ the king of God's Kingdom, is called and rightly so the Prince of Peace. For those of us that have looked into the Bible we know the Creator of mankind wishes more than anything, for there to be peace on Earth.
