Here's an edited version of a hit you hardly ever hear (unless you heard it on AM Top 40 radio stations in the 70's). This is a radio station promo copy of Paul McCartney & Wings' 1973 smash hit, "Jet". Granted, the commercial 45 was the full album version, but I believe they made this edited version for AM stations who play the shorter versions due to time constraint.
Taken from the "Band On The Run" album, "Jet" peaked at #7 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles chart, and #5 on the Cash Box Top 100.
The song also went to #2 in New Zealand, #5 in Canada, #6 in Germany, #8 in South Africa, #9 in Normay, #10 in the Netherlands, #26 in Belgium, and #39 in Japan.
