Intrepid Beatles fan/expert Andrew Dixon joins me for an in-depth discussion of Paul McCartney's 'other band', Wings.
In this third instalment we examine such vital questions as 'Did Jimmy McCulloch really try to murder the McCartneys in their sleep?', 'Did the Back to the Egg concerts really suck?' and 'Why the hell did 'Daytime Nighttime Suffering' never get played live anyway?'
We continue to explore and evaluate the various different line-ups of Wings, discuss some favourite songs, and all the other good stuff.
In part 3 we chart the final two years of the band, with the recruitment of yet another line-up, the release of the 'Back to the Egg' album, and the slow-dissolve 'split' which coincided with the end of the seventies.
Hang onto your hat and join us for this epic exploration of 'The Band The Beatles Could Have Been'.
