Get the story behind Paul McCartney singing "That's All Right, Mama" with Elvis Presley's Band! It'll certainly be a thrill.

Paul McCartney's collaboration with Elvis Presley's band took place in 1999, more than two decades after Elvis's death. McCartney was in Memphis, Tennessee, to record music for his album "Run Devil Run," which was a tribute to the early rock 'n' roll music that had inspired him in his youth.

While in Memphis, McCartney decided to pay a visit to Sun Studio, the legendary recording studio where Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and other early rock 'n' roll stars had recorded some of their most famous songs. McCartney had been to Sun Studio before, but this time he was accompanied by a surprise guest: Scotty Moore, Elvis's guitarist.

Moore had been instrumental in creating the distinctive sound of Elvis's early recordings, and McCartney was eager to work with him. The two musicians spent several hours jamming together, playing some of their favorite rock 'n' roll tunes.

At one point, McCartney suggested they record a version of "That's All Right, Mama," the song that had launched Elvis's career in 1954. Moore was initially hesitant, but he eventually agreed, and they quickly put together a makeshift band, which included Moore on guitar, D.J. Fontana on drums, and an engineer from Sun Studio on bass.

The resulting recording was raw and unpolished, but it captured the spirit of the early rock 'n' roll era. McCartney's vocals were energetic and enthusiastic, and the band played with a tightness and precision that reflected their years of experience.
