Paul McCartney has revealed it was John Lennon who decided to instigate The Beatles' split as he rejected the suggestion that he was responsible for the group’s break-up.
McCartney spoke on an episode of the BBC Radio 4’s 'This Cultural Life' and said he "didn’t instigate the split" despite many fans blaming the 79-year-old for the break-up.
"That was our Johnny," he said.
