Well. I wish I could describe the experience I had Thursday night, but I don’t think the words exist. How do you describe an evening that so vastly exceeds your already high expectations, that you can’t really even begin to even process it?
This is a very special highlight reel from Paul McCartney's phenomenal concert on June 16, 2022 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. My seat was in the 6th row, seat 16.
Releasing this on June 18th, the day of Paul's 80th birthday. Never leave us, Paul.

It was beyond perfect. I’m a fairly conservative fella, but when I saw that Paul McCartney was touring for the first time in 3 years, I decided to say “screw it” and plunked down an insane amount of money for a 6th row center ticket. You only live once, right?
It was the best decision I’ve ever made, and one of the best nights of my life. There’s so much to say. It was strange - I was sitting with Michael Bloomberg, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jon Bon Jovi. It was surreal - the video doesn’t capture the sheer assault on the senses of a show like this (Paul was literally staring at our section the whole show, it felt almost like a personal performance). It was magical - the heavens opened up for a 3-minute downpour right when Paul launched into “Hey Jude.” And, incredibly, it was historic - not only was this show the last night of the tour, it concluded on the eve of Paul’s 80th birthday, and none other than Bruce Springsteen came out and blew the roof off the place by singing “Glory Days” with Paul.
I can’t describe how much I love Paul McCartney. He’s inspired me in literally every way imaginable. To be in his presence, up close and personal, hearing his songs. There just aren’t words.
Gonna go grab a guitar…
