This is the final show of the 1973 UK tour, as well as the final show with Wings’ original line-up, after so many shows around the UK, the band is ready to give a strong final show of the tour, with a lot of enthusiasm throughout, there are some sloppy moments (like in Seaside Woman), but they’re playing with passion, Paul still is in top shape and gives some strong performances, Denny also sounds pretty good tonight, the Newcastle audience sounds really enthusiastic, this show was recorded on a pretty great soundboard recording, but it misses a couple of songs and speeches between songs, so i patched those with the audience tape of the show, this show was also Denny Seiwell’s birthday, so a guitar cover of Happy Birthday To You was added to the set for tonight.
