This decade, more than any other, needs to kick off with a Paul McCartney one-man band record. Similar to his acoustic 1970 debut and 1980 synth-pop oddity McCartney II, McCartney III maintains his heritage of independently produced solo albums. Macca is being his goofiest self, just like his two predecessors. He's not worried about becoming famous, brilliant, or a member of the Beatles; he's just a family man in isolation writing a few songs to keep his imagination active. He has been on lockdown, relaxing on his daughter's farm with his grandchildren perched on his knee and playing his acoustic guitar in the summertime sunshine of England. The nicest and most hospitable of the quarantine CDs, it combines Ram and Folklore. So in today's video, we will talk about this quarantine album that Paul released during the pandemic.
