McCartney is also a father of five, and his children have done wonderful things with their lives. One of her daughters, Mary McCartney has put to bed the rumors of her father having died 50 years ago. She thinks the way these rumors are spreading is absurd. She also believes that the fact that people care so much about her father's well-being is a testament to his fame.

Mary continued by stating that she frequently calls her father on the phone and that he is still very much alive and well. She remarked how wonderful it was to know that so many people cared about her dad, and how nice it was to hear that. She later reassured the audience that her dad is doing quite well. In response to a question on how the rumors about her father's passing spread, Mary stated that one hypothesis centers on the Abbey Road record cover, in which Paul may be seen strolling barefoot and out of step with his bandmates.

According to the idea, the white Volkswagen Beetle carries a license plate that reads "28IF," indicating that Paul would've been 28 IF he had survived. The four Beatles also serve as a representation of a funeral procession, with George serving as the gravedigger, Paul as the dead, Ringo as the faithful, and John as the priest.
