Mick Jagger, the vocalist for the Rolling Stones, responded to what the illustrious Beatles members had said. Paul McCartney once proclaimed The Beatles to be superior to The Rolling Stones.
In a conversation with Apple Music that NME reported on in 2020, Mick Jagger responded to Paul's assertion in a noncommittal manner. "He's a good man, obviously there's no competition," Jagger added with a chuckle. "It is quite hilarious.
The singer, who is currently 80 years old, claimed that his band was still viewed as fortunate since they were still giving performances as opposed to The Beatles, who had split up. Even the first single from The Rolling Stones' most recent album, "Hackney Diamonds," entitled "Angry," has been made available.
The Rolling Stones, on the other hand, were the biggest concert band in decades, whilst The Beatles never performed in arenas. They actually split up before the tour began, according to Jagger.
He is appreciative that their band has continued to perform concerts since the 1970s when other bands have not.
The Beatles were not involved when the industry began in 1969. We still perform stadium shows today like we did in the 1970s. The primary distinction between these two bands is that. One incredible band is still playing stadium gigs while the other isn't, according to Jagger.
