Paul McCartney’s second album was much more technically complicated than his original solo album. In spite of tracks that were weaponized against John Lennon, the album contained some true musical genius, and has since been recognized as one of his best efforts.
Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey was McCartney‘s first post Beatles number one record in the United States.
