I’m a massive Beatles fan, from before I even started playing guitar ‘till now (or in other words, from “yesterday” to today). Yet somehow, I’ve never before recorded a Beatles tune with a full band (this turned out to be a really good band!). Ok, it’s a “McCartney” track (solo debut), but still, given the time period and style, it feels very “Beatles."

This video was created for the virtual Beatles convention: @fab4conjam which took place the weekend before last & included panels and Q&As with some close associates of The Beatles. Our performance immediately followed a live panel that included one of their audio engineers, Alan Parsons (who’d later work on a little album called “Dark Side of The Moon” for Pink Floyd).

The winner was my most recent one, this unofficial hand built “old” Strat (but really from 2013) that holds its own next to those on the wall from late 50s & early 60s when I first tried it (at RetroFret during taping of previous video in Jan
