Step by step...
1) First, I isolated John's vocal track from his acoustic version of Maybe Baby, recorded september 10, 1971 at St. Regis Hotel, NYC, for the unreleased film "Clock".
2) As his vocal was originally bad recorded, I gave it a double-track effect to give it more strength.
3) Using the backing-track of Paul's version from the "Maybe Baby" soundtrack (played by Paul and Jeff Lynne*, recorded september 16, 1999), lowering a tone, I synchronized (the best way possible) John's vocal - verse by verse - into that.
