Little willow - Paul McCartney

A propósito de Get back el documental de Peter Jackson. He leído atentamente dos ensayos, o tal vez textos de opinión referentes al Documental de The Beatles estrenado por Jackson, el primero de Hernán Firpo: Porteños "¿Qué diría Badía sobre el incomprensible documental de los Beatles?" y el segundo de Amanda Hess, "El sublime y desconcertante espectáculo de Yoko Ono con los Beatles". Qué contraposición, oxímoron antítesis o paradoja, una de las anteriores, tal vez, me producen ambos textos. Uno, el de Hess justifica en plenitud la presencia de la japonesa, el de Firpo. plantea ácidamente que ella no tendría nada que hacer ahí. Qué bueno que existan posiciones diversas frente a un mismo tema, eso es excelente, sin embargo, tenemos que asumir una posición frente al devenir, porque no podemos, como el personaje de una canción de Serrat que dice "yo me manejo bien con todo el mundo, en eso mi padre puede estar tranquilo..., abrazar todo lo que nos propongan.
Mis impresiones las resumo en los siguientes puntos frente a todo esto que ha originado el estreno de Get Back.
1.- Líder indiscutido, genio y figura por lejos, Paul McCartney.
2.- Jackson intentó dibujar de nuevo el cuadro con otros colores, el problema es que los antecedentes son demasiado contundentes para creer finalmente en su versión blancuzca.
3.-La presencia de Yoko ono es una pesadilla, una especie de tortura, infumable, no se me vengan las feministas encima, porque es una interpretación que no tiene nada que ver con el estereotipo, ni con los roles. Es innecesaria, y creo que constituye una distracción gratuita, inoportuna, enquistada en un plano ajeno. Y como dice Hess, su presencia es molesta, patética y hasta ridícula, porque no aporta nada, considerando que globalmente intenta justificar y validar su presencia, imbuyéndola de un halo de superioridad intelectual y artístico que al menos no se ha concretado ni quedado para la posteridad en ninguna parte.
4.-Como músicos y compositores The Beatles son una maravilla, difícil que sean superados en su globalidad. Aunque hayan pasado, siempre estarán en el referente.
5.- Si tuviera que optar por cual de los comentarios estampo mi preferencia, naturalmente por el de Firpo

About Get back the Peter Jackson documentary. I have carefully read two essays, or perhaps opinion pieces referring to the Beatles Documentary released by Jackson, the first by Hernán Firpo: Porteños "What would Badía say about the incomprehensible Beatles documentary?" and the second by Amanda Hess, "The sublime and disconcerting show of Yoko Ono with the Beatles". What a contrast, oxymoron, antithesis or paradox, one of the above, perhaps, both texts produce for me. One, that of Hess fully justifies the presence of the Japanese, that of Firpo. acidly suggests that she would have nothing to do there. How good that there are different positions on the same issue, that is excellent, however, we have to take a position on becoming, because we cannot, like the character in a song by Serrat who says "I handle myself well with all the world, in that my father can be calm ... embrace everything that is proposed to us.
I summarize my impressions in the following points regarding all this that has caused the premiere of Get Back.
1.- Undisputed leader, genius and figure by far, Paul McCartney.
2.- Jackson tried to draw the painting again with other colors, the problem is that the background is too strong to finally believe in its whitish version.
3.-The presence of Yoko ono is a nightmare, a kind of torture, infumable, the feminists do not come to me, because it is an interpretation that has nothing to do with the stereotype, or with the roles. It is unnecessary, and I think it constitutes a gratuitous, untimely distraction, embedded in a foreign plane. And as Hess says, its presence is annoying, pathetic and even ridiculous, because it does not contribute anything, considering that globally it tries to justify and validate its presence, imbuing it with an aura of intellectual and artistic superiority that at least has not materialized or remained for the posterity nowhere.
4.-As musicians and composers The Beatles are wonderful, difficult for them to be surpassed as a whole. Although they have passed, they will always be the benchmark.
5.- If I had to choose which of the comments I would state my preference, naturally for Firpo's
