Let It Be is the 12th and final studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970, almost a month after the group's break-up, in tandem with the documentary of the same name. Concerned about recent friction within the band, Paul McCartney had conceived the project as an attempt to reinvigorate the group by returning to simpler rock 'n' roll configurations. The album topped charts in many countries, including both the UK and the US, but the critical response was generally unfavourable, and Let It Be came to be regarded as one of the most controversial rock albums in history.
The main Tune played on my Alan Brason Custom Stratocaster fitted with Kinman FV-HMS Pickups on mid position through a Boss OS 2 & CS2 and into an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 0-36.
The Distorted solo played on my sons Gibson Les Paul Standard fitted with lighter gauge strings to make the bends easier than on my Strat which has 11-49 Elixir Optiweb. Through a Jeds Peds Fuzz No 44 home built fuzz pedal.

So that I could download a track without the Guitar solo enabling me to record it myself as that’s the best bit of the song in my opinion. ????(All the FREE Karaoke tracks on YT have the guitar solo on there)
