James Taylor - Me & My Guitar(s) - Part 1

In 2011, James sat down at his home studio, TheBarn in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, with writer/director David Mirkin to give a special tour of his guitar collection which James called "like a photo album of my life." Featured discussion in Part 1 includes James’s “painted blue” first guitar purchased at Schirmer Music in NYC when he was 12 years old and the Gibson J-50 on which he wrote some of his earliest songs including “Fire and Rain” and which he played when auditioning for George Harrison and Paul McCartney in 1968.
