Ringo Starr, the former drummer for the Beatles, is turning 84 today. His contagious enthusiasm and distinctive approach influenced the sound of one of the greatest bands in history. Even though a lot of time has gone by since their peak, Starr and Paul McCartney's friendship is still very solid. McCartney paid a moving homage to his old pal on Instagram this morning.
