A Hard Day's Night (1964) - Five On

A Hard Day's Night (1964) was directed by Richard Lester and it was the debut feature film starring The Beatles. The film is a surreal comedy that acts as a day in the life of the Fab Four and it also features the music of the band.

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr were all born and raised in Liverpool and their music defined the 1960s and continues to be as popular today as it was upon its initial release.

A Hard Day's Night was not only a seminal album for the band, but the film has gone on to become one of the most important British films of all time.
