Cousins, Brothers, Twins performed as part of The John Cage Trust’s MUSICIRCUS! – a unique celebration of Beatles’ music, which involved hundreds of musicians, choirs, soloists, dancers, circus performers, and poets on Sunday 4th June 2017 at Liverpool’s famous Aintree Race Course – marking the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Cousins, Brothers, Twins performed seven original Beatles’ songs in all, spanning the years 1965-1969, contributing to the synchronised constellation of sound.
The duo’s set was ‘prepared’ by Laura Kuhn of the John Cage Trust – with performance times being extremely precise.
Arranged and recorded by Simon Cousins and Jon Cousins in May 2018; written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, published by Northern Songs – Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
Original sound recording copyright Cousins, Brothers, Twins… 2018
