In #1981 #SunriseMedia out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. released a series of albums on Hank that consisted of these three volumes of nothing but Hank, several volumes of Hank on one side and another artist on the other (#ElvisPresley and #RedFoley come to mind), as well as actual historical releases in which various artists or people who knew them were interviewed. This was Sunrise Media SM-3002 and this is track 7 from the album. You will notice “hum” at the end of some of the songs; that isn't the fault of my turntable or equipment. It's present from the albums themselves, leading me to believe they probably licensed subpar masters or were using cheap transfer equipment.
I want to say again how much I appreciate those of you who take the time to listen to these great old classics. This is a labor of love for me, something I would have loved to have done in my younger years as a DJ. I'd really appreciate it if you'd consider supporting my work as well: paypal.me/HankfanHankfan. Again, thank you for your kind words and comments-they mean a lot to me. God bless you!
